Changing XP Pro Retail Legal Key to XP Pro Legal OEM Key
Hi there:
¿Is it possible to change the legal key of a retail XP Pro version,
installed by mistake, to the OEM version using its legal key, without
reinstalling everything?
If so, ¿can I reinstall the retail one in another computer and activate it?
I need to legally use both versions in different PCs but now I don´t know
what to do because I prefer to have the freedom of the retail version on my
personal computer and not in my wife´s PC.
Thanks for your comments!

NO! Retail and OEM have a common file that instructs what key to
accept. One possible way is to do a repair re-install of the version
you need to "replace." This may successfully change the XP "files" so
as to permit the type of key change.
