Can I use XP Upgrade for a "clean" install? (I have Win98 CD).
Ladies and Gentlemen:
Can I use XP Upgrade for a "clean" install? (I have a legit Win98SE CD). The
XP Upgrade is a Retail item, NEW in the box. The drive I want to install it
to (320GB) is already formatted with NTFS. Will it just ask for the "old" OS
disk (Win98) to verify like earlier versions of Windows OS upgrade did?
Thanks for your reply, Bob.

Bob, If I remember correctly as long as you have a legit WinX CD you can
do a clean install of WinXP.
