Default Backup feature in WinXP

I want to backup a folder that contains PDF and DOC files, using backup
feature in WinXP Pro. My question is: "after backup, if I changed the
original files (edit - delete - rename...etc), will the backup change too?"
I want the backup to be updated automatically.
And if that is possible, how can I do that?
Thanks

Backups are either done manually or they can be scheduled to happen by you.

In order to get snapshot-like capabilities - you need a third party
application. Something like "Undelete" might do what you want in-as-far-as
being able to recover multiple copies of the file as it changes - but in
order to *backup* (to external media) said file - you will need to change
what you are doing completely.

A backup is a point-in-time copy of files/folders of your choosing.

Snapshot-type applications can be used to periodically make "mini-backups" -
just the changes.

You might consider something like "Synctoy" to synchronize the changes of a
given folder (and subfolders if desired) to a remote location...
