hi..anyone can helps me..my speaker is ok... nearly i facing a problem about
the onboard sound card... this problems happens is because i have done a
system format and reinstall everything OS and driver.. i get the sound cards
driver from the Asus wedpage. My problems is when the window is startup and
shutting down there is no sound at all.. and when i play the pinball games
from whindow also not sound appear... i have checked the control panel from
the sounds and audio devices there is no mute and i click on the Audio tab
from the sounds and audio devices properties...i saw the playback
device..default device is C-Media Wave Device and the sound
recording..default device also is C-Media Wave Device.. But the MIDI music
Playback is empty..nothing is selected and also tick the use only default
device. I try to select the MIDI music device to the Microsoft GS wavetable
SW synth. after that click ok and apply..and i double check again the sound
and audio device propeties..the MIDI music playback still is empty nothing
was selected.... anyone can helps me.........the device manager show no error
messages... please helps...thanks....
Hi David,
You mention no sounds for startup, shutdown, and the Pinball game. Are
you getting sound otherwise - just not these particular sound files?
