I have a very large windows xp file, around 10 go. I already deleted the SHADOW files in .net framework, but still it is using up a big part of my hard drive.
Is this normal and if not what can I do to solve this problem.

System Restore, hidden files, temporary files, etc. all can fill up your
hard drive. See here:
Another alternative, if 10GB is really a big part of your hard drive, is to
replace such a small drive with a bigger one. The new drive will come with
cloning software.
