I recently tried to install a USB flash drive. During the installation
routine by the "new hardware found" wizard, I encountered an "unsigned
driver / has not passed logo testing" error.
I initially attributed this to a quirk of the product I had bought, and
tried several others, all with the same problem. I ultimately tried one of
the drives that gave me the error on a different windows xp machine, and the
installation routine proceeded without invoking the wizard looking for a
driver, and without the unsigned driver error message.
It therefore seems that error is with the first machine, not with the flash
drive.
