Default Two copies of windows in same partition

I***I am a newbie***

After bringing my computer to Best Buy (Big Mistake) for some hardware
installation and "clean-up"), there is now two copies of Windows XP in my c:
drive, I have done some research here, and it seems I have to delete one of
the copies from the boot.ini. path. Which copy should I delete, the newer
install or older one? Also recently whenever I turn on my computer a prompt
says I need to restart, upon doing so the same prompt comes up again and
again. Now, I just click no. I am not sure if is this related to the dual os
problem or not. I am not sure if this is relevenat or not but we had a power
failure last night and my computer was on. Please help. Thank you

Take it back to Best Buy and insist (loudly, if necessary) that they fix it.

I would really rather not as it will only add to more expenses, and I don't
want to give them the opportunity to screw it up even more. Thank you for
your quick response though.
