Tray App Problem and Weather Channel Problem

I don't know what I did, but, whenever I log on, I get an Error 1706 box, and
this message: There's no valid source for the product Tray App. Windows
installer cannot continue." I cannot get rid of the box.

Also, when I try to delete The Weather Channel, which I don't use or want, I
get the message -- in Red -- that I can't delete the channel because it's
serving -- or is tied into -- Weather Services. I don't see evidence that I
have Weather Services. The warning is like something out of "Catch 22."

Can you help?
