Default Saving and re-sending company request

Hello, I am using Outlook Express in WXPH SP2. I sent a lengthy request to
a company and saved it to OE folder. How can I send this request to other
companies with different email addresses ? Do I need to move this email to
My Documents? If so, how do I do this from OE Folders? Or is this possible
? Thanks,

You can just hit forward and then edit it to clean it up. Take the old
header off, and change the FW:... subject etc.

That or just double click the sent message, and range and copy the body
you want, and paste it into a new message.

If they are in the address book , just type each company with a comma
( , ) after each address ; address 1 , address 2 , ; and last address
without a comma .

What do you mean by "saved it to OE folder" and "how do I do this from OE
folders"?

If, by "OE folder" you just mean the "Inbox", "Sent Items" etc areas
appearing within Outlook Express, then just double-click on the message in
Sent Items, click on Forward, tidy up the text and subject as already
described then add the recipients, again as described. (This assumes that
you have a tick in "Save copy of sent messages in the 'Sent Items' folder"
in the "Send" tab of the Tools > Options dialog box of OE, which I believe
is the default.)

If, however, you mean a folder on your PC to which you have manually saved a
copy of the message, eg as a .eml file, you could just locate the file in
Windows Explorer, double-click on it to open it, then proceed as just
described with the forwarding, etc. (Although this would be received with a
raised eyebrow by most people, as a rather odd way of working!)

MVP Bruce Hagen set me straight over in Outlook Express.general.
Sent Items>Forward>highlight and delete address and subject.
Click file>save as>desktop as .eml file. An envelope icons appears
on desktop. Click this icon each time you want to send the company
request. Presto !

Highlight the email in sent items, right click it>copy to folder>type
in the name you want this folder to have. It will appear in Local
Folders, after Inbox, Outbox, etc.

Thanks, yes, I knew all this. You weren't clear about exactly what you were
trying to achieve. Also, please crosspost rather than multiposting if you
must address several different groups; it saves time and energy on the part
of respondents.
