Default Input Signal

I have a problem with the window XP Home edition. I havve a graphic card
installed 2 months ago. When i boot the pc, I hear a beep then the Windows XP
page loads and the bar shows the movements. Then for whatever reason, the pc
loops back to the start of the boot page and continues to loop back. Just
before the Windows XP page loads, there is a options pages of LKGC, Safe
mode, and resumes normally. Tried all but still loops back. After the Windows
XP page loads, it says no input signal before looping back to the start of
the boot process. HELP!!

Also.. I have tried Windows 98 boot disk but no joy. Haven't a Windows XP
cd. Would that work via recovery console? Thought monitor problem with the no
input signal message but that doesn't explain the looping back to start of
boot process...

The beep comes from the BIOS. It usually indicates a problem with the
hardware.
The documentation for the BIOS in your computer should tell you what the
beep means.

Hi Jim... It's AMI Bios.. 1 Beep is refresh failure. The memory refresh
circuitry is faulty. Are the symptons similar to the error? And what do you
suggest to repair it?
