Default Icon change from Microsoft Window Player to JPEG

Hello There Specialist Friend,
I have 3 JPEG pictures, each of which shows the Microsoft Window
Player icon although they are JPEG and when clicked, they open as
JPEGs.
How can I change their icons from Microsoft Window Player to JPEG?
Regards and thanks,
Urban

URBAN,
Have you tried to:
1. Right click one of the *.JPEG files.
2. Select "Open With...", not Open.
3. Select another Image program such as Windows Pictures and Fax Viewer, or
any other Image program you have installed on your PC.
4. Check the box to, "Always use this program when opening this file type".
5. Apply/Ok
6. Click on the file and see if it opens in the program that you want it to.

I tried and it does not help. NB I refer to "icon change" . The rest
is OK.
