How to open photos with "Windows Picture and Fax Viever" instead of...

Hello,
When I want to open any photo (for instance JPEG) , it opens with
"Quick Time Player" . Before it used to open with "Windows Picture and
Fax Viever" , which is what I needed. I know I can change to "Windows
Picture and Fax Viever" afterwards. I do it , of course, but
grudgingly.
Please help:- How to open photos with "Windows Picture and Fax
Viever" without any need to change later into "Windows Picture and Fax
Viever" from "Quick Time Player", i.e.

WHAT SHOULD I DO to get my photos opened AT THE START

with "Windows Picture and Fax Viever".

Right-click on a photo, and choose "Open With". Pick Windows Picture Viewer
and check the box "Always use this to open etc etc".
That should change the file association.
