How do I uninstall XP home Edition SP2

It will not allow any updates and apparently is damaged

If SP2 was installed as an update, you should be able to uninstall it from
Add/Remove programs in Control Panel. Ensure 'Show Updates' are checked.

If not, why not post your problem in what you mean by 'it does not allow any
updates'? Any error messages? Have you tried going to Windows Update (
http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com/ )?
