Default how do I configure file dialog box?

Hi,

Every time the Windows File Dialog box appears it lists files as a
'List.' I would like the dialog box to list files in 'details' mode
automatically. Do I have to rewrite the dll that invokes the dialog
box? What dll do I have to mess with? Is there subclassing involved?
Is there a simpler way? Can someone point to sample code or utility
that does this?

thanks,
the seeker

Default RE: how do I configure file dialog box?

Open the Dialogue box. Sort the files to List view. Hold down the Alt key
then close the box by clicking the close button on the top right (red x).
