How to alter the order of play among songs in an MP3-player (using PCor otherwise)
Hello Microsoft.public.windowsxp.basics-Friend,
I just bought an MP3 player (Sony NWD-B103) about which I have just
one question, probably valid for all MP3 players.
Suppose I download 20 songs from my PC (Windows XP Media Center). I
can listen to them OK via the MP3 player but I am UNABLE to alter
the order of play.
Is there a way to impose one's own choice of order of play (during
downloading from the PC,or after downloading but using the PC,
or... )? E.g., suppose I want songs 3, 2, 5,11, 13,.... IN THAT ORDER
(WITHOUT touching any buttons while I am "walking").
I shall be obliged if you would let me know.
Thanking you in advance,
Yours,
Urban

This sounds like a query regarding a Sony product, not Windows XP. Sorry.
Maybe the Sony website can help?

Your computer doesn't put them onto your MP3 player in any particular order.
Windows Media Player's playlists might be compatible with sony's MP3 player.
