Group Start Menu items

I am working on a Computer Club member's computer. She is sight impaired, so
the screen resolution is very low. This causes the start menu> all programs
listings to be off the screen making more than half of them inaccessable to
the user. I would like to assemble several under a generic name so that all
can be accessed. Similar to Microsoft Office has several. Likewise
OpenOffice.

Any suggestions?

Create a new folder on the desktop and name it what you want. Drag this new
folder to the Start button and wait until the menu appears, drag and drop
the folder to Programs, then all you need to do is open the Programs
selection and add the applications to the folder you created.

Right click on the Start button and select Explore from the menu.
Right click on the Start button again except this time select Explore All Users.
You should now have these two folders opened, substituting the name of her user
account where it says HerAccount.

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu
C:\Documents and Settings\HerAccount\Start Menu

Her start menu is constructed by combining the content of these two folders.
You can organize them just as you would any folder on the computer. Create
subfolders in the Programs folder to group security programs, games, etc..
You can move program shortcuts into any folder you want.
