Not a bad idea to uninstall your old one...then turn the machine off and
replace it.
Chances are Windows will have the driver already...
Depending on the make and model of your card, XP should have the drivers
already and they should be automatically installed when you first switch on
with the new card fitted.
To get the latest drivers and the graphic card software, go to the
manufacturers website and download them.

Install the card, connect the video cable, turn on the computer. If the
video quality is not what you want you will need to install the drives for
the card. You should visit the video card's manufacturer's site and look for
the latest driver for your card and XP.
