Default fail connection to server

Hello, I need advice on what to do about my pc which all of the sudden cannot
connect to servers of my antivirus and spyware programs for updates.
antivirus program has gone crazy does not scan, does not update, freezes and
cannot be closed unles I use task manager. PC is also running extremelly
slow, I thought it might be a bug and run spybot found lots of items some
critical and were all deleted, however no change in the pc's behavour. I
cannot update my ad-aware program either. Please can someone tell me what to
do about this problem I am not and advanced PC user. I have run a free
registry fix utility but this has not fixed the problem either even though it
found lots of items out of wack, it could not however fix all of them. I
have also checked windows installer and it is enabled. I have xp home edition
thank you
Elly

Default Re: fail connection to server

Hello,

Are you using Norton Internet Security/Anti Virus?

Try removing it and see whether it fixes the problem.

You can use this utility to remove it (NOTE: it removes *all* Norton
programs)
