Best way to overcome this long-term is to assign a permanent IP
address from your router's range. This way at boot time you do
not have to wait for DHCP configuration and your network LAC
will start up a little faster.

Otherwise you'll have to login to the router and check the setting
for DHCP address range and lease time.

Hi ColTom2

There are several possible causes. Here's a link that might help:

The IP 192.168.1.100 address may simply be in use by another computer so the
DHCP server is not acknowledging the renewal request. See
http://www.eventid.net/display.asp?e...e=Dhcp&phase=1

I guess that the VALUED-E91AB895 received another IP, right?

Your Router provides a range of addresses. Usually, the Router
itself takes the lowest number of that range. To configure TCP/IP
you enter Network Connections, Right Click the appropriate LAC
( Local Area Connection ). Left Click Properties. From the details
box left click "Internet Protocol" to select/highlight then click the
Properties button. Toggle the Radio button to "Use the following
IP Address:" Enter a IP from the Router's range, Subnet mask is
255.255.255.0, Gateway and DNS Server will be your routers IP
address.

Your router documentation will note the IP Address which is the
web interface address you use to login and administer the router.

I have no idea as to how to answer your question other than to say I do
have a wireless laptop running from the router attached to my desktop
(VALUED-E91AB895). Could this be what your talking about that could be
causing this problem?
