Default Disc copy

To get over a problem reading a Tom Tom DVD I tried to copy the DVD to a CD
using Sonic. The copy failed (not enough room on the CD - forgot to check
it). Now when I explore the DVD all the icons in the right hand pane for the
DVD have a little down arrow in their bottom left corner and there is an
activity in the laft hand pane which says (proceed to copy to CD", even tough
Sonic is not running. I cannot seem to get rid of this. Any ideas?

Those are files waiting to be written to the CD that piled ujp when you ran
out of room. You can safely delete them and all will be well. Note: Do
NOT delete the actual files from their original locations; just the ones
indicateda s waiting to be copied; those are actually just shortcuts, not
the real file.
If you're worried about it, don't empty the Recycle Bin and you'd be able
to put them back if something went wrong. But it won't <g>.

Thanks for this - and you are absolutely right (of course). My mistake was
that I was getting these in the left pane when I explorted the DVD and
thought it was the files on the DVD. Actually when I explore the DVD drive,
without the DVD in it I still get the icons. As you say a sort of ghost image
from an incomplete action. Thanks again.
