Desktop icon rearrange

EVERY time I close lid on laptop.

Have set in power properties, "Do nothing when lid is
closed", and same when sleep button is pressed. Also, Never
turns monitor off, and no standby or hibernation timeout.

Right click on desktop--select--arrange Icons by---select --align to grid.
(show icons on desktop should also be checked)
