When I click on the user name on the log-on screen, the desktop flashes on
then disappears and the log-on screen returns.
I tried system restore in Safe Mode but the System Restore 'exe' file was
missing!!
So I had to run a Windows repair from my XP installation disc.
The same symptoms are there, I still can't open desktop and I'm stuck with
the log-on screen.
Any ideas, please.
