_____
Yes, there is a way to fid out the recent date/time my desktop background
was changed.
Right click on empty desktop
Click on 'Desktop' TAB
write down name of current background image
Use Windows Explorer search to find the image file.
Look at 'Date Accessed' detail on the file.
Unless the same image file has been accessed again since the background
image was changed, you have the information you asked for.

Does that occur with XP home also? I use 'none' for my image. I'm baffled.

_____
If you use 'none' then you're not using an image or a background pattern are
you? Try it when actually using an image or background pattern.
