Default Connection Problem

I seem to be be getting booted off my internet connection (dial-up) by my
computer. I recently changed computers and I used to have the setting set on
"idle never"" and it worked fine but now on my new computer it doesn't seem
to be working. I ticked the "idle never" box on connection tab and it still
gets me booted off the net. I tried different combinations like after 20
minutes or 2 hours and it still boots me off as soon as I leave it idling or
as soon as the screensaver comes on. Can you please help?

Many ISP's will boot you off. Are you sure it isn't them.

I don't use dial-up anymore. I have DSL. However if I recall when I had
dial-up there was a box to check labeled
'disconnect if idle for X minutes' There was also a box to check for
'never' disconnect. Can you find these?
