Default computer won't recognize a new cd

Hello. When using WMP 11 or ZMP when i rip or play the first cd the computer
works fine. When i eject the cd, the computer still recognize the cd. When i
put a new cd in, the computer still shows the first cd files and does not
recognize the new cd or program. Is this a Windows xp problem or a hardware
problem?
