I am currently running Windows XP. I need to copy quite a lot of data from
one database to another database. On one document I use the cut and paste
icons on that page and that works. But, when I try to cut and paste, using
right click option, it pastes the document that was clipped using the icon.
I'm assuming there is a clipboard that might need to be emptied....not sure
though. I really need these functions to work properly as this is my
business. I've tried the clipboard viewer and once I delete then I'm not
able to paste when I need to. I really need some help to resolve this!!!

It is not clear to me what you mean by "it pastes the document that was
clipped".

I copy and paste document A, I then copy document B and when I go to paste
it, document A is pasted.

I don't the answer, except maybe you need to wait a few seconds before
pasting document B. This is more of a guess than anything else. I have
noticed a delay in the amount of time necessary for a paste to be effective
when the data is large.
Other than that, the only possibility I can think of is that there is a bug
in the application you are using.
There might be a utility in the Windows accessories that could clear the
clipboard, but I don't what it is or such.

No easy way to clear the clipboard unless you have a 3rd part app that will
do it. What you can do is highlight a space say, and ALT-C copy it. Now it
only contains a space. Easy enough to do when in doubt.
Most well written apps will let you clear (or not) the clipboard at exit
time. Many do not.
