Default Change " to @

How do i change the keys that type @ and "
i'm in the UK where we use the " symbol on the 2 key and the @ symbol on the
' key.
At the moment they are the other way round - how do i change them.
When i look in Micorosft site it tells me to go:
Control Panel/Keyboard/Locales ...
but the locales tab is not present -

using win XP pro SP 2

TIA

Go to control panel switch to classic view go to Regional & Language options
and play there. You can alter most things including keyboard.
Good luck

Hi Alan,

Open Control Panel, Regional and Language Options. Hit the Languages tab,
then Details. If English (United Kingdom) is not in the list, click "Add".
You may need your Windows disk. That'll put your keyboard right.

You may also want to change some settings in the Regional Options tab.

HTH Tony.
