Default cannot open 'long file name

i am running Windows XP Home. It may be my sun installed many different game
programs downloded from Internet, it suddenly cannot open 'long file name
any more !

For example, if the path is 'C:\Program Files\Real\RealPlayer\realjbox.exe'.
It will report cannot open file 'C:\Program'

It cannot recognise ' ' in the path name. It like the old date when we try
to use DOS application to open Windows Long File name !

Could anyone help me how to resume it ?

That function is built into the OS. Try a restore operation.

To restore (to a previous date):
Click start---all programs---accessories---system tools---system restore.
Everything from there on is pretty self explanatory. Select a date back to
where you believe you did not have this problem.

When I click 'Click start---all programs---accessories---system tools', it
is empty, there is nothing inside for selection !

System tools contains Icons for Disk Clean, Defrag, System Restore and other
important Icons.
You apparently have a bad virus on your system..
