Blank screen after xp sp2 install

I have installed win xp on an old computer eveything goes smooth until i
install sp2. When the system reboots the screen gose blank after the Windows
XP screen. I have to start the install all over again. I have swapped out
video cards w/ the same results

Try booting it into safe mode, then check the Event Viewer; hopefully it will
have some hint of what’s wrong.
