Default Blank screen

I reset my screen saver from 30 minutes to one hour (starfield) and now I
can't get it to come on at all. At first I thought my PC had turned off but
it is running. I just can't get the desktop to come on. HELP!

Thanks,

Fletch

Default Re: Blank screen

Have you tried restarting the computer? Hold the power button in for about
4-5 seconds and the system will shut off. If that doesn't work pull the
power cord. Yes it is not good to do a hard shutdown but it shouldn't hurt
anything as long as you don't do it regularly. Restart the computer and
repeatedly tap the F8 key to get tot the boot menu. From there choose "Last
known good configuration (using the arrow keys and press Enter).
