Default Audio Problem

I am using Windows XP (Service Pack 2) Media Player 10. A new cable modem was
recently installed and I hear no audio. The speakers are connected properly
and power light comes on. After checking Control Panel, Audio--a message
comes up saying No Audio Device. How do I reinstall or fix this problem?

Default Re: Audio Problem

It might have been accidently disconnected from the back of your
computer. Or, you might have to reinstall the Audio
Drivers. They can be found on a software CD that came with the machine
or if you know what kind of Audio Device
you have then go to the manufacturers website. Or Dell, HP etc.
