Alt Gr key doesn't work on Finnish keyboard

I've seen similar problems on here but not this specific one so apologies if
this is a repeat.

My Alt Gr key doesn't appear to work, which has been fine so far as all I've
needed it for is the 'at' symbol...but that's one symbol you need a lot:
every time you need to re-login somewhere with your e-mail address, order
something, argghhhh....

Can someone help me fix the thing? Thanks very much!

Check the keyboard. I.E. Does the Alt key work with other keys? Does Gr key
work alone. Is Gr gerund?
What language are you set for?

I've tried other keys, and no it hasn't worked with any of them.

I'm set as Finnish language for the keyboard, English for the rest of it.

You need to try another keyboard. But first, turn it over and gently tap it
to knock out any possible dirt.
If I understand your response correctly, your Alt key is not working.

Yes, that's right - Alt Gr key doesn't work. Alt seems to.

I have done as you suggested (tapping it) but it has never worked, even when
brand new and straight out of the box

Maybe if this can't be fixed there is a keyboard shortcut for the 'at'
symbol - except I can't find one.

Alt Gr key is used for the 3rd symbol on a key . Look for a key with 3
symbols , press the alt gr key and see which symbol is shown .

OK...I tried it with one key and it didn't come up with the symbol, but tried
the number 2 and it now gives me an @ - which is all I care about!

Not sure what was up there...but now it works, thank you so much
