Default Access XP Updates installed--How?

I want to pick and choose the updates to install. Always have a deadline for
MY work so pass on downloading and installing. Get update messages for XP
all the time. How can I determine if I already have them installed and print
out a hard copy for reference? Thanks, Thor

Belarc Advisor: http://www.belarc.com/free_download.html

This utility can be used to display the list of updates that have been
installed.

View Installation History for WU5:

http://www.tech-archive.net/Archive/...4-08/1711.html

A utility created by Torgeir Bakken (MS-MVP) which is a "VBScript that
extracts information about installed updates and present them in Notepad".
Will only work for updates installed using WU5 technology. Note that the
information is gathered from the

C:\WINDOWS\SoftwareDistribution\DataStore folder.

If they were allready installed you would'nt be offered them, unless a
previous update failed
