Hi am ever so new. could someone help. how do i find out if my wireless
adaptor is 54mbps or 108 mbps?
thanks heaps
i am using vista home perimium on an asus laptop if that helps
What model number of Asus if it came built in... or make/model of adaptor if
it's and add-on.
Remember it also depends on what kind of reception you are getting.

Currently all mainstream wireless adapters offer 56mbps speed. Some offer
"speed boosters" that claim to offer faster speeds but this claim is not
borne out in reality. The newer 802.11n adapters, once the standard is
approved, will offer higher speeds.
