Windows Wallpaper Will Not Load Upon Startup (Windows Vista Premiu

To All:

Please help. I have been running Windows Vista Home Premium for (3) months,
and over the past couple of weeks, every time that I startup my computer in
the morning, my Windows wallpaper does not load, and I end up with a blank
screen.

Any ideas? I went through the whole process with a Microsoft technician of
running a Normall Startup in the MSconfig, System Configuration Utility, and
came up with (1) 3rd party program, Avvenu, which seemed to be blocking the
installation of the wallpaper, so I turned it off to automatically start on
reboot.

It looked like the problem was solved, but now, even without the auto
startup of the 3rd party program, Avvenu, that was the only thing causing the
problem, the problem is still occurring daily, whenever I start my computer.

Any ideas??
