Default Windows Vista Screen Saver Issues

I have had the screen saver not working issue after installing the optical
mouse. Finally found the fix that is as follows:
Microsoft - Other Hardware - HID Non-User Input Data Filter
More information:
http://winqual.microsoft.com/support/?driverid=20031770
Help and Support:
http://support.microsoft.com/select/?target=hub
This should be a standard update that comes with the wireless devices or
with the operating system when the unit is new. I have searched high and low
for this fix and it was a totally frustrastating thing because there were so
many other fixes that were not related to this problem. Having a new computer
with the newest operating system (Vista) and the screensaver not working
really blows. Lets try to get the vendors to included known problems fixes
with bundled packages and or send out a global fix to all vista users or
whatever the issue. Thanks for the space, sorry it is so long.
