Windows Modules Installer crash

Have Vista ultimate 32bit and windows update has been working fine until
recently. Now, at the end of any update (KB931573, KB932818 or any other
update), Windows Modules Installer is crashing. Multiple restart doesn't
help. This keeps happening every 10 min.
