Default what's the best way to do a video conference is you have a webcam

I have a dell laptop with built in webcam. How can I have a video conference
with someone using it?

Download Windows Live Messenger, and invite your friend or colleague to a
Video Chat by clicking on the video icon on the conversation toolbar. You
might be asked to configure your camera.

Thanks for the input everyone.

I don't think the Dell laptop came with any video conferencing software.
The Dell support people didn't indicate that either so maybe one of these
will work instead.

If you are looking for freewares then go for any of the options as the
guys stated above but for secure solutions and confidential business
exchanges with your buddies or clients better to opt for Gomeetnow
