A correction to an earlier post. After I enter my password the Control
Panel : System and Maintenance : Welcom Center panel keeps coming up.
How can I stop it from coming up? Thanks

Hi Don,
Uncheck the box "Run at startup" in the bottom left corner of the Welcome
Center.

At the bottom of the Welcome Center is a check box 'Run at Startup';
uncheck it to make it stop. The Welcome Center can be opened from
Control Panel, also, to get the check box.
I use Control Panel in Classic View so I am not sure where to find WC in
the un-classic view.

I'm glad my Mom named me Aaron,
That's what everybody calls me.
I have the same problem--Welcome Center panel comes up every time Vista is
started.
I have unchecked the startup box many times on the panel and also in the
control panel.
All the service packs are installed also all the updates.
