Default Website connection

Recently when I click on a webpage from my desktop icons that I want to see
the pages comes up in a "Small Window Block" and I have to click the
"Maximum" box to have it show at the regualar size. It does not happen to all
the websites I go to but at least half of the ones are affected. I don't know
if I clicked on something to have this start or it just started on its own.
How do I program my PC windows vista to let ALL webpages show at full size
and not show up in a minimum size box. Thanks for ane help. Virgil

Hi,
Try this procedure...
Open a webpage. Stretch it out to fullsize. Don't use maximize.
Choose any link on that webpage and right-click> open in a new window.
Stretch that second window out to the desired size- don't use maximize.
Close the first IE window. Then close that second resized window.

Hope this helps,
Don

An example website that resizes your window is?

If it's some JavaScript on these pages doing this then there are options
in Firefox that prevent that, I don't know if IE has the same options.

Thanks Don, This seems to have helped on the first window I opened, Now I
hope I do not have to do this on all the windows that I go to that comes up
in a small window box. Guess I will have to wait and see if more websites
come up in small boxes or if this fixed the problem. Thanks again Don..

Hi,
There are additional measures which can be applied, but that quick, simple
fix usually does the trick.
