VPN novice

I need to set up a VPN to my office where I have a XP pro workstation and
Windows Server 2003 - I use Vista Premium at home. I am a novice network
user and have no Network Administrator at work to ask for assistance. I have
full access to the domain server so if anyone could advise where to start and
where to find the necessary info I’d be most grateful.
