Vista VPN server hanging on Verifying Username and Password..help.

Hello folks. I'm trying to set my Vista Ultimate at home to be a VPN
server. I have gone through all the steps from here

through the whole thing fine, forward port 1723 and allow PPTP through
my router but still it just hangs at the Verifying Username and
password portion from the client. What do I do? Thanks.
