Vista SP1 is the most underwhelming piece of software since Vista.
Unless the final release is radically different from the beta it does little
to solve the worst fault of Vista: it is sloooooooooowwwwwwww.....
This is off-topic, Rob, but I just happened to notice that your 8300 has an
identical setup to my home machine (except that I'm running 4GB - I tossed
the original 512MB memory sticks). What did you do for a power supply?

FYI: The information comes from the "Malaysian hardware enthusiast blog Tech
ARP" and here is a link to the editorial article. From the article, their
source is "we just received word". Who knows. As each day passes the guesses
