Default Vista setup and SATA

I'm getting ready to install Vista Ultimate on a computer that has no floppy
drive (A). Does the Vista DVD have the appropriate drivers on the disk or do
I have to figure out a way to install the drivers using F6....

Default RE: Vista setup and SATA

Enter your system's BIOS and make certain that the DVD/CD transport is the
first boot device. Then when you system boots it will go the DVD rather than
the hard drive to run the Operating System.

The DVD is made to boot your computer and install the software.

Erm, that doesn't really answer his question.

You do not need a floppy drive for SATA drivers anymore. You get an option
to add them from floppy, USB flashdrive or CD/DVD during the install
process. Also, the Vista DVD included most drivers for popular controllers.
