Default Vista 32 SP1 success

I just got around to rebooting into Vista 32 Ultimate (normally run 64
Ultimate) and installed SP1 from the 450 meg standalone installer. Took 23
minutes to install, no problems to report. Computer, Properties shows 4.00
GB RAM, but task manager still shows 3326 MB, so yeah it will be confusing
many people.

The same installer took 1 hour and 20 minutes on a ThinkPad T41 laptop with
1 GB RAM, but no problems there either.

No, much more stuff installed here on the desktop. The laptop is just a
much slower machine. This desktop is a Core 2 Quad with 4 GB RAM, 3 x 500
GB SATA 2 drives with 16 MB hardware cache on each drive. The laptop is a
4 year old Pentium M 1.6 GHz with probably a 5400 RPM IDE drive. Frankly I
expected the laptop to take longer than it did.

The Vista 64 on this dekstop was installed with SP1 already included, so I
have no timings for that.
