Default Updates and patches

Anyone using NetChk Protect or other patch management software instead
of Windows Update? I've been using NetChk since they made it free for
individual use, but it's no longer free, and they're set up more for
Fortune 500 companies. It's pretty slick though, installs multiple
updates at once, manages all the reboots, avoids WGA issues...

I am not sure, as I have used neither, but this might be a bit similar:
