Default Unwanted re-boots. Why?

For some reason Vista Business has started to re-boot whenever it feels like
it when I am not using it.
This has started this morning and has happened three times today.
Can anyone suggest where I should look to find out what is causing this.

If you can't boot into real mode, restart the computer in safe mode, press
F8 key when your PC starts until the boot optons appear on your screen. Use
the up and down arrow keys to navigate, select Safe Mode. Log in, open the
Event Viewer and look for any messages relating to boot failure and reply
back here with the information.

If you can boot into Real Mode, click Start > All Programs > Maintenance >
Problem Reports and Solutions > View Problem History. Look for any problems
relating the device drivers that might have failed or did not load
correctly. Right click the problem, click View Details, copy it and past
back here with a reply.

This should help others diagnose the problem. It could be a possible
hardware defect such as Power Supply, or mother board.

Thanks for the swift reply. I have always been able to boot into real mode.
I have checked the Problem History but cannot see anything which has a time
stamp relating to when the computer was unattended and re-booted. I did try
looking in the Event Logs but am not sure I know what to look for, assuming
there might be something in there to help me.

turn off reboot on error so you can get some information and post the information back here.
under System Properties, Advanced tab, Startup section.
I access System Properties using Windows Key + Pause/Break key as a 2 key combination.

just for a little extra, a common problem is over heating.
you should have a temp & fan speed program running.
I use Speed Fan, its free.
