I found this software installed on my Vista home premium X86 machine:
"dassault systemes software prerequisites"
Does anyone know which application(s) use it and what it's does? Is it used
by Vista or IE or WMP?

Dassault ? French aircraft manufacturer?
Boeing ? US aircraft manufacturer?
Something that came with something else related to work?
Do any Microsoft products use it?

You must know Dassault, if you worked for Boeing. They are one of the
largest French aviation companies. My dad used to fly their Mystere IV
fighter-bomber in the 60's. They make the Rafale now.
They also make a CAD program for designing aircraft surfaces, called CATIA,
which Frank Gehry's (the architect) practice uses to make the curved
surfaces on his buildings.
When i tried to uninstall "dassault systemes software prerequisites x86"
it said there was another program still using it, through process of
elimination i found it to be "virtual earth 3dvia"
