Two Questions please....

When I click on a link, the only thing that appears is just the top of
the IE7 window....just the taskbar stuff. I can expand it to get the
full page or stretch it to see the full page but NOTHING I've done can
make that setting stick. Can you help???

Also, for my sister's new Vista Home Premium (other side of the
country), when she tries to download something it flashes a quick
message that is unreadable and nothing is downloaded (that happened on
two different sites). I asked her to download something from
Download.com and she said that the box that opened is "squished" and
she can read nothing in it.....and it can not be maximized either. I
had her change her resolution settings and it made no difference...
Again...HELP !!!
