Default Is there a way to edit photos in Vista like you do you Adobe Acrob

I want to add text and other special effects to photos like you would do in
Acrobat. Is there a way to do that in Vista? I looked on my computer and
didn't find anything.

Assuming you don't want to pay for Photoshop or the cheaper Photoshop
Elements, you could try Paint.net, which is free from here -
http://www.getpaint.net/index2.html .

There is also a free program called GIMP, available from here --
http://gimp-win.sourceforge.net/

Just click on the start button, programs, accessories, paint. It is the same
as XP.

Hi MariaEll,

There is a new feature in Windows Vista called Windows Photo Gallery, which
has all kinds of editing options. To read about it, go to
http://windowshelp.microsoft.com/Win...S/default.mspx, and type
"Windows Photo Gallery" into the search box. Or, you can go directly to
http://windowshelp.microsoft.com/Win...a8dc31033.mspx.
(You can also do a search in Help and Support, without going online.)

Best regards.
